There is this movie called "untamed
heart" staring Christian Slater, Marissa Tomei,
and Rosie Perez. They all worked in this diner in
Minnesota and Christian Slater was this busboy type
guy and the other 2 were waitresses. Christian Slater
follows Marissa Tomei home and you think he's stalking
her but then she's mugged and Christian Slater beats
the fuck out of all these guys.
Why is he so strong
and powerful? We are left to wonder. At some point
we see his chest and there's this huge x shaped
scar. He says he has a baboon heart but there's
really nothing to substantiate that. At the end
of the movie he dies after going to a hockey game
and catching a hockey puck with his bare hand, but
catching the puck didn't have anything to do with
his death. I think they showed him grab the puck
out of the air to demonstrate his enhanced monkey
(baboon, whatever) reflexes. Mr. Ockers and I would
refer to this movie as "Monkey Heart" and hence the
song was born.
Murlot helped to write the hook,
and I sang it before making any of the beat. I then
converted the audio to midi and found out which
notes I was singing and then wrote the beat accordingly.
See, it's not cheating if you tell people about
it.
Jo fixx is doing the monkey noises.
