planned it all stricken risen
feeling makes decision cryptic when I listen stomach
sore for everything and listen missing come and
touch the enemy clutches incredible something anonymity
could dig a larger hole in me so many later days
are marginal part of a mess left shards of a car
wreck and never got blessed test last reversal personal
sorted choice convertible chest avoidable pain averted
with cigarettes and terminal burn marks purposeful
boarderless years and bad commercials alerted all

college of killing and filling will ill feeling
peeling steal undaunted forebading unwanted wheeling
stating kneeling nodding oddly plotting spotting
body calmly jotting sooner jump through jupiter
far stupider rotting amply stagger anger rally ran
through valley gladly behave madly beat Boo Radly
sadly sinking gladly drink thinking inkling badly
reading ready steady steaming medley

a baretta never meant to get her but I got to cop
and pop veins ovaries and aim immaculate and strange
abstract frame ball games all day at the mall with
all of yall with a penny and a fade to my name and
alias maybe it's the shade of purple haze gray maybe
it's the 808 gain days and maybe even a thing or
2 gained from a done come up and nobody could run
up son gonna what the fuck
carcinogens again in my system

in the lab underground undercover under surveillance
understatement unabated creation concoction fluid
through conduits do it for addiction call it a crutch
crush character such is the way of the stray much
merrier under the clutch of the substance

Originally titled "mouth parasites"
because I started the beat while watching an episode
of the WB's "Angel" in which Fred got mouth parasites.
Anderegg played cello on this joint. He actually
took his cello on the airplane when he flew in from
Portland, OR. (that's where he was living at the
time, FYI).
The meth lab title and introductory
anderegg statement thus naming this song "meth labs"
comes from when anderegg was spitting his verse
and he said something like, "Shards of a mess left"
and it sounded like "meth labs" during a take in
which he messed up.
It may make it less cool to
explain all the bullshit behind the songs, no?
